We have been so happy with my mom's caregiver from Senior Helpers. Over a year ago we were told that my mother was ready for hospice following a medical matter, much of this related to her dementia. We hired Maria shortly after to help get my mom ready for the day, encourage her to eat, and involve her in daily activities provided at her assisted living facility. My mom is now a different person. With Maria's assistance, my mom can get dressed daily, attends meals in the dining room, and participates in activities and field trips. Maria keeps my mom active from morning to night. We have been so happy with Maria and thank Senior Helpers for sending her our way to help enhance a positive quality of life for my mom.

Senior Helpers North Side Chicago LLC has been extremely helpful and they found a particularly capable and nice helper. My husband, however, decided that he wasn't ready for in-home care, so right now, the services are suspended, but we hope to resume whenever he feels he's ready. The Senior Helpers office and the supervisor were extremely supportive and helpful. I will always go back to them first whenever my husband decides he's willing to have the Senior Helpers. They were just great and I can't say enough good about them. They were right on the spot. They were accommodating and we loved the personnel. We love the gentleman that they sent as a helper. I'm hoping maybe later we can get him back. My husband is having trouble with mobility and dementia. That's what the Senior Helpers were here for. The gentleman was really great. They offered everything and we figured out together what we really needed and the main thing was companionship and assistance with toileting and bathing, that kind of stuff.

We just employed Senior Helpers for a two-week stay by my dad. I've worked with several other agencies, and the process has never gone smoother or better. Crucially for us, we could meet a proposed caregiver beforehand so we knew she'd be a good match for us. And she was - excellent company for my dad, who really requires companionship and attention - as well as covering all his care needs. Senior Helpers will be our first, and probably last call next time we need this kind of help.
