Find Care & Housing
Is Dad on the deed too?

When someone is on Medicaid the house is an exempt asset till death and then its an asset that Medicaid can recover from. When that happens, a lean will be placed on the house. The lean will need to be satisfied if you sell the house. Medicaid does not take houses. You being on the deed, I think, means you won't lose it. This is a question for Medicaid. Make sure they know, when you apply, that the house has a shared deed.

Medicaid is state specific. We can all give best estimates and thoughts, but you need solid advice from a local Medicaid planner and elder care attorney. Please seek their knowledge

You have a complex living arrangement. You need the advice of an elder attorney since inheritance in the face of Medicaid is very state specific. Rather than getting answered from non legal experts from PA. You need to get everything lined up correctly
